"Stephen Butcher is the president of Butcher Insurance Group, Inc., a thriving agency rooted in Stuart, Florida. A proud Martin County native, Steve graduated from Martin County High School before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management/Insurance and Real Estate from Florida State University. Licensed in insurance since 1992, he founded Butcher Insurance Group in 2002 with a focus on serving the homeowners market.
Under Steve’s leadership, the agency has grown significantly, expanding through the strategic acquisition of two local firms to become a competitive force across all lines of insurance. His decades of expertise and client-first philosophy have cemented the agency’s reputation for exceptional service.
A devoted family man, Steve is married with two children and remains deeply connected to his community. He coaches youth sports, supports local charities, and champions organizations that uplift Martin County. In his downtime, Steve is an avid outdoorsman, often found fishing or boating along Florida’s waterways.
